The music and movement program at Elmwood is designed to complement and enhance every child’s learning experience.  The emphasis is on fun and participation.  Our curriculum involves dance and creative movement as well as singing and rhythm instruments.

We use a wide repertoire, from old folk songs (“Old Dan Tucker Came to Town”) to “zipper songs” where each child may add a verse  (“Everybody Loves Saturday Night”) to movement games (“Let me Hear you Boogaloo!”) to Elmwood originals (“Right Here at Elmwood”)

Our CD, “Elmwood Sings,” helps create a home-school connection and is requested over and over in family cars.
